Communication

ManageBac is the source of important information about your student and school notices about a wide variety of events. You are linked to ManageBac and your student's account through your email.  Make sure that the school has your current email address.
Hauna Zaich can help you learn to navigate ManageBac. Teachers can answer questions about assignments or grades in any of your student's classes. 
Communications from the school come to you via ManageBac. You will receive email notification of messages posted to ManageBac and a link to the message. Please check your email regularly for notices from the school.
The school's Facebook page is updated regularly with pictures and information about school activities. Please note that the only official Facebook page is here. 
Teachers, Coordinators, Counselors, and Administrators are available via email or by calling the school office.

Student Services

The student services team is led by Katherine Luu and includes three Counselors. Ms. Luu has over 15 years of experience as a school counselor in elementary, middle, and high schools. 
Process:

• Resolution of issues almost always rests on direct conversation between the parties involved. We ask that students start by reaching out to the teacher most closely involved in the situation. One of the counselors will be happy to assist in the conversation if the student feels more comfortable with that support.
• We ask that students reach out for assistance themselves and be an active participant in the solution. Parent support is important and is most effective when it supports the student's agency and direct involvement in the solution.

​The student services team is here to help facilitate and mediate resolutions. The team is professionally trained to deal with a range of situations, including serious issues involving mental and physical health. Please do not hesitate to contact one of the team if you have any such concerns.

Coordinator

The MYP Coordinator is responsible for implementation of the MYP--leading MYP orientations for students and parents, reviewing curriculum, supporting teachers, guiding professional development, and supporting the academic progress of MYP students. In addition to these duties, the current MYP Coordinator teaches Language & lit in the DP and coaches the Speech and Debate team.
