Paul Canepa, Board President Paul Canepa is a lifelong resident of Stockton. After graduating from college with a degree in Business Administration he returned to his family's downtown business, Canepa's Carwash, a Stockton business since 1955. He and his wife Leslie, who works with K-5 students at Stockton Collegiate, have two daughters. Paul was elected twice to the Lincoln Unified School District Board. He served on the City of Stockton Parks and Recreation Committee. Paul was elected to the Stockton City Council in 2011 and served as Vice Mayor of the City of Stockton from 2012-2014. Kathy Swanson, Board Treasurer Kathy Swanson worked in Human Resources at Stockton Savings and Loan for nine years before beginning her current career of service in the Stockton community. She has been a tireless volunteer in schools, serving on the School Site Council and PTA at John Adams, as the Vice President of the Franklin High School Site Council, and as a dedicated supporter of Stockton Collegiate in its organizing year as her son, Steven, spent his senior year at Stockton Collegiate, earning the distinction of being one of the school's first four graduates. Kathy's civic involvement also includes a twenty-year membership in the Stockton Fire Department Auxiliary where she served on the Board of Directors including terms as Secretary and President. Suzy Daveluy, Secretary Suzanne Daveluy has worked at the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library for twenty-nine years in various capacities, from cataloging and technical services to children’s services (with weekly Stockton Collegiate visits!) to overseeing the adult literacy program. During her tenure in the library’s children’s services division, Suzanne coordinated Stockton Collegiate’s kindergarten through fifth grade weekly library visits. Suzanne is currently the Deputy Director of Community Services / City Librarian overseeing the 14 libraries that make up the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library. A life-long Stocktonian, Suzanne holds degrees from Sacramento State, San Jose State, and McGeorge School of Law. She has served on several community boards, including Stockton Shelter for the Homeless and Read to Me, Stockton! Suzanne is passionate about instilling in young people a curiosity about life that can be explored in the pages of a book and through a variety of school and library programs. Email Suzanne Daveluy
