Paul Canepa is a lifelong resident of Stockton. After graduating from college with a degree in Business Administration he returned to his family's downtown business, Canepa's Carwash, a Stockton business since 1955.

Paul was elected twice to the Lincoln Unified School District Board. He served on the City of Stockton Parks and Recreation Committee. Paul was elected to the Stockton City Council in 2011. During his four year term, he serves as the chair of the Audit Committee and as Vice Mayor of the City of Stockton from 2012-2014. Paul is currently serving as a San Joaquin County Supervisor.

Paul bring his Stockton roots, extensive public service in education and government, and commitment to the community to Stockton Colleigate.

​Paul and his wife, Leslie, raised two daughters in Stockton.
